Than you do not know parents!!!! ;-)
Bonga experienced it yesterday first hand...
All day long, he seemed to be suffering from the "heat", his little head was swetting all day long and his hair was wet due to it. In addition, I had not succeeded the last couple of days to comb his hair without hurting him due to all the little knots and curls. Even though you do not notice it when you look at him, some of his hairs were over 7 cm long and were starting to become a rasta like structure...
So, with the best intention, to help and relieve my son I went to buy a razer. The 3 mm length had no impact on the hair as the curls did not unwind, so I decided to try out the 1 mm...
You can guess what happened!
The 1 mm went under the curls and with great shock I discovered I was practically shaving my little guy bold! There was no way back, so with a deep guilt and under great amuzement of Wim, I had to continue shaving...
In his little chair, supported by his big sister, Bonga did not seem to mind and Wim loved his "football" like hairstyle...
I must admit, once I was over the shock and the guilt, his new hairstyle did suit him and today he seems to be relieved and less overheated!
So, if you come and visit us, be prepared: our son looks currently more like a thai monk than an african boy... ;-) but still enormously cute!
