Brief translation for our non-dutch speaking friends:
Thanks a lot for the many emails which we received during the last couple of days. They really touched us...
We are currently going full steam ahead as we still have plenty to do during the short period before we leave for Cape Town.
The most important things are settled: our flights, our stay during the first 14 days, most of the paperwork... but still lot's to do.
The key issue remaining before our take off and unfortunately out of our control is my foot! As some of you know, two weeks ago I missed the last step and fractured my foot! I am currently imobile and not travel ready!
The doctors believe that if I rest sufficiently and be carefull during the next couple of days, my foot may be cured sufficiently by 1oth June to no longer need a plaster. I may still need a brace or my crutches. Let's hope not...

Wow - congratulations again to Miro and Bonga and their happy parents!
I look forward to seeing more pictures on here, and commend the parents on the swiss-watch-like precision of your planning and organisation ;-)
